Chillout Lounge – Sonnenhügel Hotel

Task description

A spacious room is to be transformed into a chillout lounge appealing to teenagers.

Challenge

The windowless, monotonous room is to be revitalized through original ideas and designed to appeal to a young audience. Existing furniture should be integrated.

After the renovation

Implementation

To add structure to the room and alleviate its monotony, thick bamboo poles were installed. These divide the space while giving it character. The African style captured here is supported by the original furniture. Additionally, this was also incorporated into parts of the picturesque wall design. Cozy niches were created through textile partitions. The lighting design installed on walls and ceiling also gives young people the opportunity for a changing light atmosphere tailored to their needs.
